Course Overview

This course provides an in-depth exploration of change leadership principles and practices specifically tailored for professionals in maintenance and reliability. Participants will learn how to effectively lead change initiatives, improve maintenance and reliability processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Improvement initiatives which require behavior change to be successful and sustainable must incorporate a formal change management strategy in alignment with the technical implementation schedule. The level of effort within the change management strategy is dependent on the scope of the improvement initiative and the relative risk to the organization. The approach to being a successful change leader is to define the case for change, communicate the need for change, preparing the organization for change, aligning individual behaviors, and institutionalizing behaviors. We will discuss the philosophy behind each of these steps and execution of these steps. We will share models that simplify the change management process, and you will discover the art of leading your organization, nurturing an effective team, and driving remarkable business outcomes through engaging discussions, hands-on experiences, and interactive exercises.
