Global Leadership for Technical Teams New

Company leadership, at any level, is today often global in nature. Furthermore, after the COVID pandemic, development teams have been asked to manage these teams with less travel and face-to-face interaction. This course provides the student with all the necessary skills to effectively manage technical teams that span global locations, cultures and languages.

Course Objectives:

  • Describe methods for leading a culturally and geographically diverse team effectively and productively by understanding the team members’ different cultural norms.
  • Describe specific cultural differences that a global team member or manager may encounter in specific countries.
  • Define how cultural differences may impact a project.
  • Identify technology tools used to manage a virtual project team.
  • Describe methods for managing the virtual work process effectively.
